Raw Honey Unfiltered Honey

Fall River Honey retains its naturally delicious flavor and beneficial qualities because we never overheat or over-process our honey.
Our honey has a soft amber color and a delicate sweetness with a subtle undercurrent of cinnamon-spice.

Our careful traditional processing techniques ensure that Fall River Honey retains the finest flavor and wonderful beneficial health qualities that have made honey a renowned superfood since time immemorial.

To get the natural, raw unfiltered honey, we lightly strain rather than filter the honey allowing it to retain the pollen which is a natural and traditional component that contributes to the flavor and the health benefits of honey. After harvesting we use only minimal heating to render crystallized honey back into its liquid form. This ensures that Fall River Honey remains in its pure raw state of goodness.

Sadly most commercial honey these days is overheated, heavily filtered and over-processed into sugar syrup devoid of its natural flavor and healthful qualities.

Conscientious Beekeeping

Our honey we ensure that our bees are kept free from pesticides and herbicides. Our conscientious beekeeping practices benefit the health and wellbeing of our bees, the natural environment and of course you!
Our bees graze on sainfoin blossoms, a cousin of the honeysuckle flower. The large, fragrant blossoms are particularly alluring to our bees and the early spring bloom allows plenty of time for pollination.

Our family farm is the center of our hub and we also plant on private lands where we work closely with local farmers and ranchers to ensure that the bees are kept free from any herbicides and pesticides.

This relationship creates a wonderful mutually beneficial ecosystem for the local farm community.

Our Family Farm

Fall River Honey comes from our family farm in Eastern Idaho to your kitchen table! Our family has farmed the land in Eastern Idaho for over 150 years and has practiced beekeeping for over a decade.
Our family has a close relationship with the land and a deep abiding concern for the bees and their role in the natural habitat. Our family has tilled the rich soil under the Teton Mountain Range in Eastern Idaho for many generations.

Our awareness of the vital role bees play in the wellbeing of the natural habitat led us to take up beekeeping in 2011. Over the past decade our conscientious beekeeping practice continues to grow year after year.
